Against the background of a bougainvillaea arbor and a royal palm promenade, a parallel ramp/stair entices visitors to descend below the waterline to nine commemorative courts carved into the existing retention pond. Black flamed granite walls in each of the nine interconnected courts allows water to trickle over the edge, fostering a calming, contemplative environment.
