The back door of the flats off an existing porch is reused as an entrance to the office units: one on each side of skylight and a third at the end of the corridor, which faces the street frontage. Within the skylit corridor, painted gypsum board walls replace the original slate shingles, and stone tile is used to resurface the floor.
